Kosciuszko! Here I come!
It looks like things are coming together for the trip to Australia, next week. While there, I hope to climb Mount Kosciuszko, the tallest mountain in Australia! I'm very much looking forward to this wonderful opportunity.Plans are not too tight for the actual attempt, yet. But right now it looks like I'll be departing from Melbourne. Some reports indicate that it might be a 7-hr drive to Charlotte Pass, the trailhead for the climb. I may stay the night in a nearby town, such as Jindabyne, but other than that, I'm going to wait until I'm in country, and have a feel for how the trip is going. One thing is for sure, I will be attempting to climb the mountain - I just haven't figured out on what day, yet!
