Congratulations, Nick!
Hey Everybody,This is a shout out to my friend, Nick Rice! He successfully summitted G2 on 25 July 2006!
CONGRATULATIONS NICK!!!
Last year, Nick and I were on G2 together, we were two members of a 3 client (+1 guide) team. We were not able to go for the summit because of seriously bad avalanche conditions - but this year, Nick returned to the mountain - and made to the top! Rock on!
I am very proud of you, Nick! Way to push it to the top!
I can't wait to hear of your adventures when you get back!
(As for me, I'm training - and I am looking into improving my VO2 max. I know I should ideally have a heart rate monitor for this - but I guess you could say, that for now, I'm doing it the old fashioned way - just giving 'er all I got!)
