Arrived in Oz!
Good'ay, Mate!I've arrived in Australia - the 7th (and last!) Continent to which I've travelled! It is so beautiful here - the weather is gorgeous and warm - and the people have been amazing. I am very fortunate to have an opportunity to travel here on business. I am travelling with my boss, Andre Dupuis, and on the weekend, we will make an attempt to climb Kosciuszko - the 6th mountain in my quest to achieve the Seven Summits.
We arrived on Sunday, 26 March, at around 1000hrs. Following our check in at the hotel, we dropped our luggage, and began our exploration of Sydney. What a remarkably beautiful city. We strolled along the Darling Harbour walkway, visiting the Greek Festival activities, headed to The Rocks - an historical neighbourhood in Sydney, and eventually made our way to the Sydney Opera House - taking in the wonderful architecture. Throughout the afternoon, we walked to various other places, then slowly made our way back to the hotel. It was an excellent way to spend our first day in Amazing Australia!
